Training

We run a variety of training sessions most weeks and also org anise special training sessions with professional coaches. If you are interested in taking part, please just turn up at the time indicated. If you need any further information, please contact rob@zoomtri.com

Monday - Swim session @ Stokewood Leisure Centre 9-10pm

A graded swim session with use of the whole pool. The session usually covers between 1800 & 2500m depending on standard. This is a coached session and we use video analysis and regular testing for those that want it. Cost is £3.50 for members & £4.50 non-members. Each 4 week schedule is emailed directly to all club members.


Tuesday - Run session from Littledown 6.30-7.30pm

Coached tri specific sessions designed to improve run speed and endurance over all tri distances. Each 4 week schedule is emailed directly to all club members.


Wednesday - Bike session meeting @ the Commadore Pub @ Southbourne Overcliff 6.30-8.00pm

A steady bike ride that is maintained throughout the year. The ride takes place on a loop along the overcliff between Hengisbury Head and Boscombe Pier. The loop is 7 miles long and the group usually does 3 loops. During the winter when the weather is bad, this session may be replaced by circuit training - check the web for announcements.

Thursday - Run session from Littledown 6.30-7.30pm

Saturday - Swim & Bike session @ Ringwood Leisure Centre 9-1pm

The swim session is coached and graded into different lanes - cost is £4. After a cuppa in the cafe, the steady ride starts. This usually heads out into the New Forest and all levels are catered for - its not a race !



Sunday - Open water swimming @ Durley Chine

Open water swim session to suit all triathletes. Weather permitting, these sessions start promptly at 5pm on the beach.
