Thanks to all those that have e-mailed me so far about the Pasta Party and BBQ I have made a note of all responses. So far we have around 15 that want to come to the Pasta party, I have booked 20/25 slots at La Piccolo Italia 23 Holdenhurst Rd in Bournemouth. Should be a fun evening :-)
Very unusually for Zoom we have been somewhat quiet on the social activities front for the last few months, what with everyone in full training for Ironman, Ironwoman, World Champs etc etc… the only socials have been our after training breakfasts at the café at ritual for all early morning swimmers from Durley. Well just like London buses we haven’t had one for ages and then two come along.
We are planning a pre Bournemouth Tri Pasta nosh up on Friday 4th July, we are yet to finalise a venue until we can get some rough estimate of numbers, if you are up for some fun and pre race fodder please let me know. The venue is likely to be in Bournemouth from around 7.30 onwards.
After the Bournemouth Tri Race all club members are welcome around to our place for an afternoon BBQ. Please bring any drinks you want we will provide the grub, just keep your fingers crossed for the weather. Again if you could let me know if you are coming this would be a great help in organising the food.
